Here is my version of the map, Foibos got us the permission.

I added many new vehicles, replaced all old anti-portals with better ones that work far more effective, did some technical adjustments (like EAX-support and SurfaceTypes), fixed some bugs with the lightning and missing PathNodes and changed some other things that could possible cause bugs in the future.

The map has some fancy fog-emitters, but you can turn them off by setting your WorldDetail not to the highest level. The fog-distance is also scalable. When you have the lowest setting for fog-distance, then everything behind 11000 UU is occluded, on highest setting would it be after 14000 UU. Everything between is scaled between these values. So if you wonder why some people seem to be shooting you even before you see them, then try a higher setting and reduce other details first. Fog-distance is always the last thing to touch, I guess.

There is also an Easter Egg, but it should be pretty hard to find, unless you know where it is.



I release this map for Beta because I am pretty bad at vehicle balancing and I have additionally no clue how these new vehicles work out with players, so don't consider this a final, but it would be nice if you could run it on the server so that the peeps can give feedback.

I also don't know if I put all necessary files in, tell me if one is missing. I even put two Hellhound-files in there because I was not sure which one I took.


This map uses vehicles from AirPower by Monarch, everything that works like the Spacefighters, to be more precise.
And some vehicles from which I don't know where I got them from. Maybe some DW-stuff, but I am not sure.


UPDATE (Beta2-):
-Removed a vehicle that spammed the log with error-messages.
-Added one KingHellHound that should be used for taking down the SpaceFighters quickly.
-Fixed some bugs in the Terrain.
-Did a lot work on the botpathing, the success is not huge but at least it's playable with bots now.
*They are still dumb as bred and can't bring SpaceFighters down without crashing them.
*Bots in fast vehicles sometimes return to a certain position behind them because they missed a PathNode on their way through the hilly Terrain.
*It rarely happens that a bot enters a vehicle and jump out of it immediately. However, it's much better than before, where the bots were leaving any vehicle immediately after entering it.
*I left most of the AI-Scripts in the map, which should cause the bots to wait at a certain position near a node for some seconds while holding either a SniperRifle or an AVRiL. Bots tend to go directly to one of those scripts when they occupied a Node so that they won't link the Node before their script finished. I'll remove the scripts in the next version if they really suck.
*It seems like bots have problems to find the node under the Redeemer, but that Node is not necessary to get to the enemy Core, so I'll leave it like that for now.
-Tried to give the Cores a better defence because they are pretty uncovered after all.


Known issue: The SpaceFighters are not teamlocked, everybody can take them, no matter which team has the closest nodes.
I will take care of that when I release the next version of my UltimateONSTools.

All necessary files are in this package. Some files from the older version are no longer needed, so I made a whole new package.

So what do you want to tell me by that? The map's name is alright, I guess.

The Beta-stuff. Well, I have no clue how it will work out with human players, bots might not be so clever to use SpaceFighters for powerful kamikaze-strikes on tanks, except by chance.

If you don't want to put it online because it's the first Beta, then I can't help you. Hope Foib will do it.

I will try to re-upload it tomorrow. Mediafire doesn't seem to like me today.

Also did some minor changes: switched the location of two vehicle types, adjusted some respawn-times and fixed the linksetup, which didn't contain the Kraken-node.

I already made the experience that it might come handy sometimes if a beta is released for public testing. The people don't have to take a look, but some will do anyways sometimes and are pretty good in finding issues.

Sorry, I am used to that procedure from other forums without a team that is dedicated to test the maps. Some normal users make that job professional as well.
But ok, I will forward them to you in the future.

No problem with getting the general public to test and try it out Crusha. However, my main concern is
that it won't break the server or have exploits that cause shit. WMD40 is the BEST at ferreting out that
crap which is why we need it to come through TheWreckingCrew.

And for me, having it in PM's means less chance of forgetting to get it on the server (but still not a lock
that I will not forget it )

That one is no good as well. Half of the files within come back as zero bytes.

Hmm… not sure yet. What are the upload- and download-speeds?

And the maximum storage space in the beginning?



I don't really see a benefit in this compared to other filehosters, it even needs a seperate program.


Mediafire is doing a fine job for me. 764-1024 kbps upload and also fast download when using DownThemAll!.
And unlimited storage space with hosting the files for an unlimited time.
