![]() I thought that it would be nice to have a place for everyone to post their thoughts, tips, tricks, ideas, links, tutorials, etc. There are alot of tutorials out there for general modeling and programming, so lets try to stick to things Unreal Tournament related. I will edit this post to keep it organized with any Links you guys think to add, and all your collective advice. Some you may know, I know some of you know alot of them.
Cheers ![]() Unreal Developers Network - In depth references and examples for all things unreal related. Unreal Wiki - Another Excellent source for Unreal related info. I find it hard to find obscure references here, but more general topics are covered in good detail. AngelMapper's Tutorials - A good place for beginner topics, good tutorials, but I assume most people here know most of what is here. I will point out there is a coding tutorial you should read if you want to make your own vehicles, or other UScripting. Atari Unreal tournament Forum - Good place to ask questions about mapping, scripting, or finding new maps/mods. Ut Maniac - Tutorials - A large list of tutorials, I have seen some good ones in the list. Outpost - We create free fully playable add-on maps for Unreal Engine based games, such as Unreal Tournament. You will also find tutorials and resources which may help you whilst creating your own projects More to come later... |

![]() It would be nice if this had one simple post where we could all edit it because when people start appending links it takes a while to go through them, especially when there is like 12 pages of posts. Then you get cases where most of the links are dead because they are old, and people change there sites like on the Atari forums site.

![]() Yes. That's great, but what I'm suggesting is more like a links page with all the links organized depending on what you would like to do. Like unreal appz vs. lighting vs skyboxes and so forth. you dig?

![]() pshh... i rarely use tutorials now. but a really good tutorial is 3d buzz. its like classes in making shit for unreal, its pretty cool. its made by 3D Buzz, the guys who made the tutorials i used for some things on the bonus DVD with ut2k4.

![]() How bouts a little page where you can download each other's maps? A profile like the current roster has now, except when you click on a name the person's maps come up. Not necessarily limited to our members.

![]() Something that would be nice as a resource would be a library that mappers could share. Like a library of prefab emitters. You could have a thumbnail of the emitter and a link to download it. It would save alot of time.

![]() ALL the info you could possible need concerning Beam Emitters (Lightning effects, etc). To get ideas for how you may want lightning to look in your level, Google\Image "Lightning". You'll see some awesome shots!
