When did you start playing ONS regularly? It seems like 2 years ago or so - I often confused you with Ezno (sp?).. as both of you usually came online at the same time, and were about as good as each other. I can see that you've gotten better since.

Calyx is pretty good, but Sammi seems like a better player (on foot) who actually plays ONS. Sammi just gotta learn how to use vehicles!

(RMD) Shadow later was close than.Shadow or Bane I felt was the best ever here.Eola is one the best, although he'll spawn kill if he has too.Enyo can still pull his weight and he's paid his dues.His opinion is note worthy.

I began playing around mid 2008, so right at 8 years. I think I started playing here a little over 2 years ago, right after I was erroneously banned from RMD! The RMD admin later admitted he was wrong and let me back on, but I had already come over to OMNI and said, "fuck that guy and his server that nobody plays on anymore because he bans everyone."

Took me a while to adjust from the RMD super weapons to standard. That's why I laugh when everyone complains about overpowered this and that... go play on RMD if you want to see truly overpowered shit. They have a sniper gun called the steorra that can take the mino out in two well placed shots, and that's one of the weaker weapons.

You started playing on OMNI back in mid 2013, that is when I first noticed you on the server and I'm almost certain I saw you on DW before that. You only started playing in 2008? No wonder you haven't graduated from Shock Primary to the LG. Woot! I got an extra 4 years on you! I started with the UT2004 Demo, playing nothing but ONS Torlan and DM Rankin.

Let's not pick nits here. You're right, though, I did indeed play on DW quite a bit and popped in here occasionally right after I got temporarily banned from RMD in 2013.

Speaking of RMD, Wacko23 use to play on DW frequently, a good player too. He is the only one that I know from RMD.

Wacko is actually a buddy of mine I still chat with from time to time from my RMD days. He is (or was) an RMD admin. He's been playing on OMNI a little lately, presumably because RMD is always empty. Everyone be nice to him when you see him, he's a really good guy.

I had people I looked up too. Basically, all the DM players with the Pure tag, or uMA. Tweakish, the old Cain's Lair Thor, prongBastard. Several I consider equals (footsoldier that gets nodes): Rider, Quebecois, Calyx, Goose, Dimshade, Blackwood. California was a sharper shooter than I was, but he behaved like Laser; sitting behind the frontline picking off unsuspecting players.

Revisiting the stats, Tweakish was more of a killer than a winner, and Prong was more like the mature me. But in Tweakish's defense, he was in a clan and fought with highly skilled players.

This is a very interesting thread. Glad to see many of you guys have improved over the years. I do remember Enyo, Dimshade and a few others had really come into there own back in 2013 when I popped in for the summer. I would caution the braggers not to brag too much, though. Onslaught's been a different game since 2010-11. Before that it was Deathamatching with nodes. With teams full of phenomenal players like Silent Treatment, RZL DZL, Doublemint, JohnnyHildo, Pi, 40oz and many others I can't remember off the top of my head you had better bring your "A" game. I used to warm up on Death match servers just to come play Onslaught on Omni.
Hell, back when Danno68 and I were in our prime we had some battles where we'd dodge jump over and over so quickly and sporadically that we couldn't kill each. I remember a time or two where we just called it quits and headed off in different directions.
I've looked on YouTube but I haven't found any battles from that time period. Hands down the fondest and funnest memories of my gaming career. Miss it terribly.

The two best "ONS" players were Rider and Urtho, IMHO. At least those were the two people I most wanted to see on my team at the start of a match anyway....

Two great players for sure. Urtho and I go way back to Cain's Lair, along with Pam, hardspike, and Dead Sniper. Without being pretentious, I think I was better than Rider at that time period. I think you were better than him. But he was formidable. Same with Urtho. They're both 2:1 players too.
