Alrighty, I've been working on an upgrade to MTMU-Nighwolf that will fix many things wrong with the map including the curbing that gets
vehicles stuck while trying to leave the core, replacing the old badgers with the newer ones, and fixing several places in the map where there
are holes in the terrain to fall through.

One thing I was wondering though, was whether or not to leave the Nexis Missile Launcher in or replace it with an Arbalest or some other vehicle.
I know many people have complained about it being "too spammy" and it has been known to cause extreme lag for players when it's nexis missile detonates.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks for trying to fix the "curbs" as they are a problem in every map. I vote for leaving the nexus tank in.

Same as Terminator and Mr.Crow, leave it in. Thanks for fixing the errors, I loved having a tank hanging off the front of the base.

Since a few people like the Nexis Missile Launcher, I'll leave it in. It's one of the things that differentiates this
map from all the other MTMUs.

So does the Hammerhead, but it makes an appearance in every TMU map.

C'mon Turbo, get to work on the Dria map. Need to end the mino campfest that map has turned into. Force that tank to be mobile again.

The Hammerhead is in dire need of a reformat. Having played Warhammer 40k games I can tell you the physics for it are completely off and it's only useful if there isn't anything else around.

If the link tank was removed, would that do the trick?

Otherwise, the only thing I can think of is an ion kill volume.

Edit the terrain to take out the hill. Just lower that whole area. Or make it too steep for a tank to climb.

That would do it. The hill would be too steep for a mino, but allow Badgers and Centaurs to ascend it.

Binger, would you be able to do this? My terrain editor is all mashed up and won't let me do anything to edit terrain.

Sure, I'm still working on Lolkheim but I can take a break from that to edit Dria. I'm leaning more towards lowering the hills on both sides way down cause that would be easier but I can make the edges too steep instead if that's what people would prefer.

If you get that weird mash-up thing in the editor you can delete your User.ini and it should fix the editor if you open it up before opening up the game. I get that mash-up thing all the time in Win 7 so I have a copy of my User.ini and I just delete the one in the system folder when I'm having problems with the editor. Just remember to copy your old User.ini file back to your system folder when you go to play or all your settings will be default.

Lowering the hills would be great. Could easily heighten the wall that runs down the middle too. The mino could still protect it's secondary but not be able to easily knock down the other team's from so far away. Thought I saw you playing Dria last night Turbo so you probably know what I mean. Thanks for all your work Binger. You ever come through St Louis I'm buyin'

Thanks Glue. If I'm ever in your area I'll take you up on that offer.

I don't see a thread just for Dria-TMU so I started a new one...

LOL. Racer really needs that link tank when he's driving the mino.
