Hello all! I'm new to these forums but I've played on the Omnip)o(tents UT2K4 server quite a bit.

Goo Tank was Gorz idea but he doesn't play anymore and then I tweaked it.

I haven't tried it but does it have the Huge Bio Glop for it's Alt Fire? That would be one of my ideas.

Currently it only has primary fire, but the primary fire is a giant glob of goo like your BioTank's secondary fire.

I don't really know unrealscript but have been learning as fast as I can. I cranked out all those vehicles over x-mas break. At that pace there are still a few rough edges for sure

I was thinking of asking gorz if I could port all his stuff over to ut3 at some point, but I was going to try to get my stuff done first... Thinking about it though, his stuff is much simpler to code than mine (lack of messing around with shields), so Ill ask him if hed mind a full port being done, though if I remember correctly, hes already given a lot of people here permission to do whatever they want with his stuff (all )o(s and most of the active modders when he left), do people think that covers going a full port? Im up for it if people want it, they werent that complicated.

The dragon was someone elses though, cant remember who atm.

Solace did the Dragon. Gorz is playing COD4 now so you should try PMing him.

I feel UT3 has a good mix of vehicles already and they need to be balanced better than they are before any new ones are introduced. My opinion anyway.

I was planning to wait a while before adding any new vehicles into the mix, to see how the necris stuff works out. But I am planning to port the crusader stuff over and balancing them to the rest of the vehicles.

I managed to hack out one more last night, the 'Hornet'. UE3 is so awesome! Ultimately I want to make a giant mech vehicle, like a bipedal version of the leviathan or something. That would be so cool.

YAY! Someone remade my Biotank! One thing I did by accident that turned out to be quite a cool feature - make it completely immune to other biotanks (and its own goo).

Now just get 'em into a new map and see how they go.

lol, Im going to take that as carte blanche to re-do the rest (and mabey the bio as well, just to get them all in one package), with the original names. No clue what Ill put them on, but Im sure some of the mappers here would appreciate them. And I know Id appreciate something simpler than the fanatic to get my head round UScript3.

Accidents do normally turn out to be features, my toggleable shield was one of them, which I really quite liked...

It's a little outdated but has some good info. I'll actually post it in the Mappers area too.

Yeah, exactly like that. There probably aren't a lot of normal maps because people don't know how to make them.
