Question UT2004Mod Files

I was wondering if there is a way to extract files, or individual files from these type of files with the UT2004Mod extensions?

Any help in pointing me to a program or reply would be greatly appreciated

Can't recall a program offhand, but I do know the UCC process

There's 2 ways to get UCC ready to go. Navigate a Command Prompt or use the .bat file I made
If you don't plan on using UCC much, I'm just gonna list the command method

Press Start -> Run, in the little window, punch in CMD and press Enter, it'll start up a black window in your C:\Docs & Settings\User
At this point, and assuming you installed straight to C:, type in cd C:\UT2004\System (If you installed to another drive, I'm out of ideas cuz I can't remember how to change drives in the CP)

You'll now be in the System folder ready for UCC stuffs
Type in ucc umodunpack filename
This will extract everything directly to your System folder, so you'll have to sort the files out to the proper folders

You sure about that? I used a folder on my E drive and no matter what combo I try, I keep getting The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

Yup, sure about that. Although unlikely, maybe you don't have the access rights to the folder. I'm saying that because when you download a file, Firefox (at least, version 2) sets it's access rights so as to prevent other computers from accessing the file (ie: you can't directly use the file from another computer; you have to copy/move it somewhere else first).

I shouldn't, and I get that for both my E and F drives(D is dvd), regardless of folder or even trying to get straight to the drive

Thanks for the help with that... I think what I'll do is temporarly put all the files in my system file in a folder, so when it extracts the files, those will be the only ones in the system folder, then I'll move those out and move the actual system stuff back in. Thanks for the help, you got me out of a jam

Or you can use the Details view and sort by Date Created/Modified
