ONS nodes don't actually work right when rotated. It seems that the ball part gets put directly above the node, the shield effect goes from the top of the node and faces the same way as the node is...

Yeah, kinda frustrates me too... you can rack up 100+ points just hanging out with a high power vehicle, but fighting your way over and damaging nodes only gets you to the lower 20's. I've played...

Personally I feel like this is the beta for the console versions, and Epic (presumably) intends to patch up the PC version afterward. Maybe because it's easier to patch PC games than console games?...
